BASE, a new generation artist platform of whom Digilogue has been the digital art partner, is bringing together the works of many young artists from all over the country in Istanbul. You can apply for the fourth edition of BASE, which has united more than 50,000 art lovers with the works of 320 newly graduated artists, until July 1st.
Open for the applications of art school graduates of the class of 2020, BASE is waiting for the graduates of animation, printing, glass, photograph, traditional Turkish arts, visual communication design, graphic design, sculpture, painting, ceramics, video, art-teaching and textile design (fashion/jewelry design are excluded). Candidates can apply to BASE with 3 different works.
BASE’s selection committee this year includes; Ayşe Erkmen, Ayşe Umur, Azade Koker, Derya Yücel, Eda Berkmen, Gökşen Buğra, Lalin Akalan, Leyle Gediz, Meriç Hızal, Moiz Zilberman, Nancy Atakan, Osman Erden, Onur Gökalp, Öner Kocabeyoğlu, Saruhan Doğan, Vahap Avşar and Yusuf Sevinçli. As in previous years, the exhibition is curated by Derya Yücel.
BASE aims to support young people in their transition from graduation to professional art life, to give them an impetus and direction in their careers, and also has the mission of being a tool for collectors, art lovers, and creative industries to discover young talent.
