Storytelling In Data Performances

Emerged as a result of the ten-year accumulation of live performances and new media installations of Fuse*, Dökk, also known as “live media opera”, visualizes body movements, emotions, real data sets and physics simulations.

The main subject of fuse*, which operates in the intersection between art and science, is emotions.

İtalian art and science studio fuse*’s German Design Award 2019, Special Award and Digital Design Award, Sound Design award-winning data performance, Dökk, will make its Turkish premiere on October 16 at Zorlu PSM Turkcell Platinum Stage with the support of Digilogue. Following the performance, the group will tell the interdisciplinary story behind the work with a speech moderated by curator Camilla Colombo, who is known for her work ranging from live performance to humanities, cultural politics to technology ethics on Thursday, October 17. The speech, which will be about ”Storytelling in Data Performances “and” Performance Design on New Media Art, ” will focus on the realisation in the group’s performance.
